The heavy-duty steel hinge arm lets you swing the case outward, clearing the tailgate by a full 180 degrees. Reach in, grab what you need, and swing it back. The locking mechanism clicks the case back into position against the wheel well, completely out of the way of cargo. When you need the entire bed clear, simply lift the Swing Case off its hinge. It detaches in under five seconds and weighs just a few pounds empty, so you can carry it to a work area or stow it temporarily.
Inside, a removable sliding tray keeps smaller items—wrenches, flashlights, fuses, zip ties—organized and separated from bulkier gear below. The lid features integrated cup holders, turning the top of the case into a convenient work surface when it’s swung open. Yes. We designed the Swing Case to mount against the wheel well, so it does not interfere with most tonneau covers, roll-up covers, or folding covers. It also works alongside spray-in and drop-in bed liners. For bed liners, the self-tapping screws go through the liner material without issue. If you have an over-the-rail bed liner, you may need to trim a small section near the mounting area.
Every Swing Case toolbox is rated for 75 pounds and provides 1.5 cubic feet of storage. That’s enough for a full set of hand tools, a cordless drill, spare batteries, and smaller accessories.
