About Swing Case

We reinvented truck bed storage so you never have to choose between cargo space and tool access again.

Our Story

We built the first Swing Case because we saw truck owners making an impossible trade-off every day. Traditional crossover toolboxes eat into bed space. Under-rail boxes require you to unload cargo to reach your gear. We knew there had to be a better way—a storage system that delivers instant access without stealing a single inch of usable truck bed.

Our engineering team started with a simple concept: mount a toolbox against the wheel well on a steel hinge arm, let it swing out 180 degrees over the tailgate, and lock it back into position when not in use. That idea became the Swing Case—a truck bed toolbox that fundamentally changed how truck owners organize and access their gear.

As part of the Truck Hero family of brands, we bring decades of truck accessory expertise to every product we design. Our manufacturing facility produces every Swing Case in the USA, and our engineering team continuously refines the fit, materials, and functionality based on real feedback from the truck community.

What We Build

We engineer Swing Case truck bed toolboxes from high-impact ABS plastic—the same rugged material used in our premium tonneau covers. Each unit is precision-molded for a specific truck make, model, and year range, ensuring a factory-tight fit against the wheel well without universal brackets or improvised mounting.

Our current lineup spans over 40 vehicle configurations, covering Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, RAM 1500, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Gladiator, Ford Ranger, Ford Maverick, Nissan Frontier, and more. We offer both driver-side and passenger-side models for most trucks, and we maintain a full parts catalog covering replacement locks, latches, mounting brackets, hinges, and hardware.

Every Swing Case provides 1.5 cubic feet of organized storage with a 75-pound weight capacity. Inside, a removable sliding tool tray separates small items from bulkier gear. The lid features integrated cup holders for a convenient work surface. A heavy-duty moisture seal and key-lockable handle keep contents dry and secure.

Our Commitment

Precision Engineering

We design every Swing Case for a specific truck—no universal fits, no compromises. Each model is tested for road vibration, temperature extremes, and years of daily swing-out cycles.

Designed for Truck Owners, by Truck Owners

We don’t build Swing Case products in a vacuum. Our development process starts with conversations—talking to contractors who need a wrench at arm’s reach, overlanders who want their recovery gear organized, and commuters who refuse to let a bulky toolbox eat into their cargo space.

That feedback shapes everything from our hinge tension to our seal materials to our mounting bracket design. When customers told us they wanted the option to install both a driver-side and passenger-side unit, we made it happen. When fleet managers asked for easier key management, we improved our locking mechanism. When weekend builders wanted a dedicated parts catalog for easy repairs, we built one.

The Swing Case isn’t just a product—it’s a reflection of how truck owners actually work, play, and drive. We listen, we engineer, and we deliver solutions that make your truck more capable without making it harder to use.
